We are proud to announce that our very own Asquith Magpies Junior player Grace-Lee Weekes has been named Captain of the North Sydney Bears Tarsha Gale Cup Team for 2023. Grace has been a junior tackle player and in 2022 was selected for the inaugural Bears Tarsha Gale Team and followed up with a season with our Open Women’s Team in their first year for the club.
In her second season of TG, Grace’s leadership qualities have shone through leading to her selection. Joining Grace in leadership roles are Keturah Matoe & Lara George, also in their 2nd season who also joined our Women’s team in ’22.
Sa Patiole has returned as Head Coach after guiding many of these girls through our successful Open Women’s Season at Asquith.
Congratulations to all our Asquith Magpies Girls for their achievements in the Magpies/Bears Pathways.
