On Sunday 15th October our junior players and their families gathered at Crosslands Reserve to celebrate and reflect on a fantastic year of football. Our junior magpies ran themselves raggered with a little help from the fairy floss and snow cones on offer while participating in lots of fun games and activities.
We also got to celebrate the recipients of our 2017 Club Awards. Congratulations to the following volunteers who were awarded our club awards for the year. Thank you for your valued efforts and contributions to the Asquith Magpies throughout the year.

Woman in League Award – Danielle Tickner
Spirit of Magpies Award – Jeff Green and Nicole Nicholls
Club Person of the Year Award – Mick Tickner
All our junior magpies also traveled home with a little more silverware for their trophy cabinets.
And while we celebrated a great 2017, we can’t help but look forward to next year with lots of exciting plans on the horizon, we hope to see all our wonderful magpie families back in 2018. Online registrations will open from November 1.
